Born in 1940 in l’Isle d’Adam,  Anne Tiessé originally worked as a layout artist and designer in the Paris area before devoting herself to painting and sculpture. In 1975 she opened her own studio where she continues to explore clay modelling techniques.

She uses movement in her quest for harmony. Her work is tinged with allegory and the symbolic representation of Man is a recurring theme. From the place where Anne Tiessé finds solace to feel and create, she offers us her interrogations about the mutant world, fruit of her silent contemplation.
